Group discussion: The future world of Generation Z – bright or bleak?

TV GenZ Europe intends to produce a series of documentaries focusing on the question “The future world of Generation Z – bright or bleak?”. Each episode will last 45 minutes and you and your friends have been invited to support the editing team by giving them an insight into the challenges and opportunities your generation will face in the future concerning aspects such as digitalization and technology, work-life balance, lifestyles, the economy and certain aspects of leisure.
The first task you are involved in is to figure out the most striking issues that should be covered in one of the first episodes. That is why each of you has come up with two examples which illustrate quite vividly the documentary’s title. To prepare for the first meeting with the editing team you first discuss your suggestions with your friends.

SITUATION:

You are meeting to discuss ideas for the first episodes.

PRESENTATION STAGE:

Present your ideas. Tell your friends, why you think your ideas need to be part of this series and how exactly they will shape the future of Generation Z.

DISCUSSION STAGE:

Discuss your ideas and agree on the three most striking issues for your future that you would recommend to TV GenZ Europe for the first series. Also decide on the order the ideas should be broadcast.

Optional aspect for discussion:
If there is still time left, make suggestions about how best to present these ideas in the series. Which thoughtprovoking, eye-catching elements would you (not) like to include in the episodes, etc.?
